No. Portable decks sit on concrete blocks or piers — no permanent foundation required. This means no permits in most areas and the deck can be moved or removed. We handle all the leveling and setup at delivery.
Can you add a roof to a portable deck?
Yes. We offer single-slope lean-to roofs and gable (A-frame) roofs. Roofed decks require an onsite measurement visit before build, which typically adds 1-2 weeks to delivery. Roof options are available in 22 metal colors.
