Combo Unit FAQ

What is a combo unit?
A combo unit is a portable shed attached directly to a covered carport, forming a single connected structure. The shed provides enclosed, lockable storage while the carport gives you covered outdoor space for vehicles, equipment, or a work area — all on one footprint.
Can I customize the shed and carport sizes independently?
Yes. The shed and carport widths are typically matched, but lengths can be different. A common configuration is a 12×24 shed with a 12×20 carport attached — giving you a 12×44 total structure. We can mix sizes to fit your site.
Does the combo require a concrete slab?
No. Combo units can be installed on compacted gravel or level ground with ground anchors. A concrete slab is optional but provides the best long-term foundation, especially for the shed floor. We will discuss your site conditions when you order.
Can I add a roll-up door or walk-in door to the carport side?
Absolutely. We can fully enclose the carport end with a roll-up door, walk-in door, or both. Some customers enclose the carport on three sides to create a garage-style bay with an open face. Any configuration is possible.
Is rent-to-own available on combo units?
Yes — on qualifying open combo units (portable shed attached to an open carport). No credit check required, 36, 48, or 60 month terms, pay off early with no penalty. A 10×16 + 10×16 open combo typically starts around $149/month. If you enclose the carport side (roll-up door, walk-in door, walls), the project routes to Hearth installment financing instead. Call us to confirm eligibility on your specific configuration.
How long does installation take?
Most combo units are installed in a single day. Our crew handles everything — no contractor coordination required. Concrete slab installation (if you want one) is the only thing that may add lead time.
